THE OG 107
The OG 107 is a US military work uniform introduced in the 1950’s and phased out in the late 80’s. It was the work uniform of every enlisted soldier and comprised of the 4 pocket fatigue also known as the Fatty, Baker Pant or OG107 and a 2 pocket military shirt.
OG107 was constructed from cotton sateen, a durable yet breathable alternative to heavy twills, allowing the wearer to stay cool on operations but tough enough to resist wear and tear through adverse environments and terrain. (OG107 refers to the military colour code for Olive Green 107. Field testing in the 50’s revealed that this specific shade of Olive Green offered the best camouflage of all the green colour range).
Wearing once and then washing will give the garment an "instant vintage” feel. Over longer periods of time the fabrics take on unique colour fades depending on how they are worn. Result is a garment unique to you.
