Pallares have been handcrafting knives in Catalonia since 1917. The Pallares family are part of a tradition in Solsona that dates back to the 16th Century. Pallares are now the only remaining testimony to the knife-making tradition in the region.
A dependable pocket knife is a necessity when out camping in the countryside. Each pocket knife is lovingly hand-crafted in northern Spain. Pallares still seek out all the finest materials for their knives and each pocket knife is finished by hand.
Northern Fells Care Advice - Keep your Pallares knife dry. Use a good-quality oil to keep moving parts lubricated and clean regularly. Over time carbon steel will develop a beautiful dark patina (oxidisation) which is quite natural and adds protection to the blade.
The knife can be sharpened with a water stone or household steel.
